Kreinik metallic threads are a delight to use. They give added sparkle and a touch of the exotic to all of your stitching and are easy to work with. Because these threads are made of tiny strips of metallized polyester film wrapped around a reinforcing thread, they are soft and flexible, do not separate or easily shred, and are hand washable and dry cleanable. For best results it is important to use a needle with a large enough eye (#5 or #7 darner, #5 embroidery, #22 chenille or tapestry) to allow the thread to pass through fabric without abrasion. The threads are listed from smallest (#4 very fine braid) to largest (1/16” ribbon braid) and come on 10 or 11 meter snap-top spools.

Kreinik Very Fine (#4) Braid
#4 braid is strong enough to be used alone for a delicate touch of brilliance. You could even blend it with a strand or two of cotton floss for just a hint of sparkle. Try it for tatting, too! 11 meter spools. $2.65 ea.
